A computer to practise on. Support to stay in college. Guidance for an unfamiliar path. Sneh Asha Foundation helps children and young people access the learning and support they need to take their next step.
Know moreWhen children have access to education,
skills and opportunity, communities move forward.
And when communities move forward,
a better future becomes possible.
Our mission is to alleviate poverty by strengthening education, life skills, digital capabilities and skilling of children, youth and women, enabling long-term socio-economic mobility.

Different students need different kinds of support. Our programmes bring digital teaching into schools, help students meet eligible education costs and build practical skills for everyday life.
DIGITAL LITERACY
Within government and municipal schools, our Digital Literacy programme gives students structured lessons and practical time on computers. Students learn to create documents, work with data, research online and use digital tools responsibly.

We begin by understanding the school or student's need. We then agree what support can be delivered, put the programme into practice and follow participation and progress.

Sneh Asha’s education work is centred across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and Palghar district in Maharashtra.
The setting shapes the programme. In Mumbai, our work focuses on school-based digital learning across 15 municipal public school labs. In Palghar, practical-skills learning is delivered within Ashram Shalas, with the programme adapted to the school timetable and local context.

Sneh Asha’s Digital Literacy programme works within municipal and government schools across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The April 2026 assessment records a 15-school Mumbai cohort reaching 11,980 students. Students learn computer skills during the school day through structured lessons, practical assignments and assessments.
Opportunity Scholarships also support students at important education and sporting transitions. Since scholarship support follows the student’s approved pathway, the place where a scholar studies may differ from where their need was first identified.
