Ajinkya Rahane, Salman Khan join hands with NGO for empowering 15,000+ students

Sneh Asha Foundation marked a major expansion of its digital learning and scholarship work with the launch of 10 new state-of-the-art computer labs across BMC and TMC schools and the induction of 12 students into its flagship Scholarship Programme.
10 new computer labs equipped with more than 600 high-performance computer systems are expected to benefit more than 15,000 students from Grades 6 to 10.

10 New Computer Labs
Sneh Asha Foundation announced the launch of 10 new state-of-the-art computer labs across BMC and TMC schools.
The newly inaugurated facilities are equipped with more than 600 high-performance computers.
The labs are expected to directly benefit more than 15,000 students from Grades 6 to 10.
Students are expected to gain exposure to digital literacy, coding, AI concepts and data analysis.
Salman Khan Supports Digital Access
Salman Khan awarded medals and personalised gifts to scholarship recipients during the event.
He also donated 30 brand-new laptops to the Foundation to support students' access to technology and education.
Batch 3 Scholarship Programme
The event also marked the induction of 12 students into Batch 3 of the Sneh Asha Scholarship Programme.
The programme provides comprehensive educational support including coaching, college fees, laptops, mentorship and career guidance to meritorious students from underserved communities.
The scholarship programme includes three tracks: Saraswati for Class 10 toppers, Shakti for graduation support and Laxmi for postgraduate aspirants.
Digital Inclusion and Educational Equity
The event brought together government officials, educationists, corporate leaders, donors and celebrities around a shared focus on digital inclusion and educational equity.
The Foundation's digital learning programme aims to provide students with access to technology and structured learning opportunities within their school environments.
Student Stories of Resilience
Stories of resilience and achievement were also highlighted during the event.
The Foundation's scholars include students pursuing education at IITs, athletes who have represented their state and artists developing their talents through the Foundation's wider support ecosystem.
